General handyman repairs and odd jobs, ongoing property maintenance (including Airbnb and holiday-let properties), sheds and garden buildings supplied and installed, fencing and gates, bespoke garden structures such as pergolas and log stores, and furniture repair and restoration.
Is Cordreys insured?
Yes — fully insured up to £10 million. We have carried full insurance for 48 years with zero claims ever made against our work.
How long has Cordreys been in business?
Cordreys has been trading for 51 years. The business is run by a fully qualified carpenter and cabinet maker.
Do you charge for quotes or site visits?
No. Quotes and site visits are free, with no obligation. Invite us to come and discuss your needs at no cost to yourself.
Can you build something bespoke rather than off-the-shelf?
Yes — that is the heart of how we work. We want to make you what you want, not what happens to be available. Sheds, barns, garden buildings, pergolas, outdoor bars and furniture can all be built to your specification.
Do you maintain Airbnb and holiday-let properties?
Yes. We have direct experience maintaining Airbnb rental properties — carrying out repairs and upkeep between bookings so the property is always ready for the next guest.
Do you lay the base for a new shed or garden building?
Yes. We supply and install all types of garden buildings including laying the base, and we also offer a shed-erection service if you have already bought the building.
Can my furniture be repaired rather than replaced?
Usually, yes. We repair and restore all kinds of furniture — recent work includes a fully restored Windsor chair. Send a photo of the damage and we will tell you honestly whether repair is worthwhile.
